February 2014: CPLIS' JP McGonigle awarded "Business Centre Manager of the Year – BPO"


22 Companies were distinguished Thursday night (6 February) at the 2nd annual CEE Outsourcing and Shared Services Awards.
Our very own JP McGonigle was awarded “Business Centre Manager of the Year – BPO”.

"John Paul provides service desk and end user support to HP’s multinational customers. John Paul demonstrates a track record of business improvement in areas such as SLA delivery, recruitment efficiency and cost saving.

John Paul's major achievements include the following: the SLA compliance figures increased by 10% from 2011 to 2013:
• SLA compliancy 97% based on the last quarter’s result
• 260 SLA targets to deliver upon across the business
• 2011 SLA compliancy result was 86.94%, the current performance means a 10% increase


CPL IS took over the service from HP in Hungary. During the transition the Centre manager faced the following challenges:

• The legal succession of 145 HP Employees
• The transition of approx. 420 agency contractors from 3 separate agencies into CPL Integrated Services permanent employees with the loss of just one contractor during the mobilisation phase
• Seamless transition into the new model
• Ensure supply of necessary resources can be maintained by a single partner and reduce the time to hire
• Bring stability to an operations which had multiple Client Escalations ongoing and unstable SLA delivery
• Ensure no spike in attrition during transition and a positive trend going forward

January 2014: Cpl is to sponsor the SSON Conference


The “war for talent” was officially launched in 1998 when McKinsey & Company published their now-famous report proclaiming that better talent is worth fighting for. For McKinsey, talent refers to the best and the brightest. In contrast, talent has become a synonym for the entire workforce in many organizations. Years of competition and billions of euros spent on talent consultants and training programs have produced few clear winners in this war.

On March 3rd 2014; Cpl Integrated Services will facilitate a workshop at the Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON) Business Service Delivery Summit for Central and Eastern Europe. The workshop will offer evidence based analysis of why the war for talent paradigm is out dated and restrictive and why a one size fits all solution for businesses is virtually impossible. Participants in the workshop will come away with a framework for developing bespoke human capital management strategy through the use of a talent capabilities maturity model.

September 2013: Kraków Breakfast Seminar Press Release


On a wet and blustery September morning, Business Leaders gathered in the Sheraton Hotel in Kraków to hear Cpl IS, EMEA Client Director, Ryan Williams speak about the global forces affecting talent migration. In association with Aspire (Association of IT & Business Process Services Companies), Cpl IS hosted the first in what is to be a series of Breakfast Seminar events which will be held in cities across Poland. Attendees to the Krakow seminar were treated to a lavish spread, followed by an analysis of the talent solutions marketplace and associated strategies for the SSC/BPO community in Poland. This analysis was cross referenced with global FDI data and an overview of talent migration patterns, giving those present a real insight into the forces affecting the supply of talent to Poland as well as strategies to harness these forces and build a talent pipeline.

The Breakfast Seminar began at 8.15am. Attendees were encouraged to ask questions around the discussion topic and networking opportunities were given as well as plenty of time to linger over coffee and sample the wide variety of world class cuisine available at the event.

JP McGonigle, Cpl IS site manager, attended the event. He had this to say:

“These Breakfast Seminars are a fantastic opportunity for knowledge sharing. By hosting these events Cpl IS are not only sharing ideas, we are prompting a dialogue and facilitating the development of the market.”


August 2013: ABSL Conference Press Release: Cpl IS share their expertise at the 4th Annual ABSL conference in Lodz


On Thursday 6th and Friday 7th of June 2013, the most progressive players and forward thinking speakers from the Shared Service Centre (SSC), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) Sectors in Poland gathered at the Andels hotel in Lodz for the 4th annual ABSL conference. Among the presenters was Cpl IS EMEA Client Director, Ryan Williams; who gave the audience an informative overview of the most exciting service product advancements in the marketplace today.

In addition to presenting in the main auditorium, Williams also moderated a panel discussion under the title ‘Co-sourcing strategies-An operational innovation’. Panellists included Suzanne Dolan, Managing Director, Cpl IS; Tom Foley, Partner Supplier Manager, HP GSD; Piotr Sawiński, Managing Director, Ciber and Adrian Copland, Head of Shared Service Centers, Catlin.

Ryan had this to say about the ABSL conference:

“It was a great honor to be part of this prestigious event; Poland is a very exciting place to be and the annual ABSL conference marks one of the highlights of the Business Services calendar. The forum this year was a fantastic success and it served to demonstrate the high level of expertise and innovation which exist in the talent solution sector in Poland.”


November 2012: CPL IS set up operations in Northern Africa


November 2012: Cpl Integrated Services, leading providers of Contingent Workforce Solutions, today announced their success in winning the contract to provide a managed Contingent Workforce for Customer Support Services to HP in Tunis, Tunisia. Cpl IS will provide the managed services for HP clients in French and English with capabilities to add further languages in the near future.

Driven by customer and staff feedback, Cpl Integrated Services offer real time, on the ground workforce solutions. Capabilities include: Recruitment Process Outsourcing, Vendor Management, Managed Services and Contingent Workforce Solutions.
